تعارف

کرکوک کے قلعے کے اندر واقع یہ مقام حضرت دانیال علیہ السلام کا عالمی طور پر تسلیم شدہ اور قطعی ثابت شدہ مدفن نہیں، بلکہ ایک قدیم مسجد اور ان سے منسوب زیارتی مقام ہے جسے مقامی مسلم، یہودی اور مسیحی یادداشت نے محفوظ رکھا ہے۔ شوش، شوشتر، سمرقند، موصل اور دوسرے علاقوں میں بھی حضرت دانیال علیہ السلام سے منسوب قبروں کی روایات موجود ہیں، اور کسی ایک مقام کو تمام تاریخی برادریوں نے غیر متنازع قبر نہیں مانا۔ اس لیے کرکوک کے اندراج کو قلعے کے اندر واقع ایک منسوب مقدس مقام کے طور پر پیش کیا گیا ہے۔ مسجد شہر کے مرکز میں تاریخی قلعہ کرکوک کے بلند ٹیلے پر قائم ہے۔ مقامی روایت اس کے اندر موجود قبروں کو حضرت دانیال علیہ السلام کے ساتھ حننیا، میشائیل اور عزریا نامی شخصیات سے بھی جوڑتی ہے۔ مسجد کی قبری جگہ، گنبدوں اور قدیم قبرستانی ماحول نے اسے ایسا مقام بنایا جہاں شہر کی مختلف مذہبی یادیں ایک دوسرے سے ملتی ہیں۔ یہ نسبت بعد کی زیارتی روایت ہے، مدفون باقیات کی شناخت کا آثارِ قدیمہ سے ثابت شدہ نتیجہ نہیں۔ حضرت دانیال علیہ السلام کی سیرت بنیادی طور پر کتاب دانیال اور بعد کی یہودی، مسیحی اور اسلامی تاریخی روایات میں محفوظ ہے۔ ان روایات میں انہیں بابل اور فارس کی حکومتوں کے زمانے میں رہنے والا ثابت قدم بنی اسرائیلی، عبادت گزار، صاحبِ حکمت اور خوابوں و مشاہدات کی تعبیر کرنے والا بتایا گیا ہے۔ اسلامی مؤرخین نے تستر میں حضرت دانیال علیہ السلام سے منسوب ایک جسم کے ملنے کی روایات بھی نقل کیں، لیکن انہی مختلف روایتوں کے نتیجے میں متعدد مقامات ان سے منسوب ہوئے اور مدفن کی جگہ طے نہ ہو سکی۔ اس لیے کرکوک کا مقام کسی خاص قبر کے قطعی ثبوت سے زیادہ شہر کی مشترکہ مقدس جغرافیہ کی گواہی ہے۔ قلعہ کرکوک میں قدیم، یہودی، مسیحی اور اسلامی یادوں کی مسلسل تہیں موجود ہیں، اور جامع دانیال کی مقامی زیارت اسی مرکب ورثے کی نمائندگی کرتی ہے۔ یہ مقام عبادت میں ثابت قدمی، سیاسی دباؤ میں دیانت اور جلاوطنی و سلطنت کے ماحول میں ایمان کی بقا کی یاد دلاتا ہے۔ زائر کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ ثابت شدہ ورثہ اور غیر حل شدہ تدفینی نسبت میں فرق سمجھا جائے۔ مسجد کا قلعہ کرکوک اور شہر کی تاریخی شناخت کا حصہ ہونا واضح ہے، جبکہ حضرت دانیال علیہ السلام سے اس کی نسبت ایک محترم مقامی روایت ہے جسے موجودہ شواہد سے بڑھا کر قطعی حقیقت نہیں بنایا جانا چاہیے۔
