این مکان آرامگاه قطعی و بیاختلاف سید عمر اشرف، فرزند امام علی زینالعابدین، درود خدا بر او، نیست؛ بلکه زیارتگاهی منسوب در استان ذیقار است که به نام مقام شریف شناخته میشود. سنت محلی آن را به عمر اشرف پیوند میدهد، اما یک پژوهش دانشگاهی جدید هویت دیگری را برای صاحب نخستین مقام پیشنهاد کرده است.
عمر اشرف فرزند امام علی زینالعابدین، نوه امام حسین، برادر امام محمد باقر و عموی امام جعفر صادق، درود خدا بر آنان، بود. کتابهای نسب مادرش را فاطمه دختر امام حسن مجتبی دانستهاند. پیوند همزمان حسنی و حسینی سبب شد او را در برابر عمر اطرف، اشرف بنامند.
منابع رجالی و نسبی او را از چهرههای دانشمند، راوی و بخشنده دوره تابعین و مرتبط با اداره صدقات خاندان معرفی میکنند. نام فرزندانی چون حسن، علی اصغر، ابراهیم و محمد مضیاف در منابع آمده است. شخصیت او تاریخی است، اما نسبت این قبر در ذیقار نیازمند دلیل جداگانه است.
مقام شریف در جغرافیای فرات میان ناصریه و بطحاء قرار دارد و برای خانوادهها و عشایر منطقه محل دعا، فاتحه و زیارت بوده است. این مجموعه بخشی از حافظه دینی جنوب عراق و محبت مردم به سادات و اهل بیت است.
پژوهش منتشرشده دانشگاه بابل پیشنهاد میکند که صاحب نخستین مقام شاید شخصی از نسل عمر بن علی اطرف و دارای لقب شریف بوده و سپس به سبب شباهت نامها، نسبت به عمر اشرف منتقل شده باشد. این یک نظر پژوهشی است و سنت زنده محلی همچنان نام عمر اشرف را به کار میبرد.
ارزش تاریخی مکان در پیوند محبت اهل بیت، زیارت محلی، زندگی رودکنار و حافظه قبیلهای است. بررسی کتیبهها، اسناد وقف، مدارک متولیان و منابع تخصصی انساب طالبیان برای داوری نهایی ضروری است.
اهمیت تاریخی / دینی
مقام شریف در ذیقار از مراکز قدیمی زیارت و حافظه سادات در جنوب عراق است.
شخصیت عمر اشرف در منابع نسبی روشن است، اما هویت صاحب این قبر محل بحث علمی است؛ همین امر مکان را برای پژوهش تاریخ زیارت مهم میکند.
صفحه با جدا کردن سنت محلی از نتیجه قطعی نسبشناختی، هم حرمت زائران و هم امانت پژوهش را حفظ میکند.
