التعريف
يمثل قبر آية الله العظمى السيد محمد محمد صادق الصدر رحمة الله عليه في مقبرة وادي السلام مدفنه الرئيس، ويرتبط بتاريخ العراق الديني الحديث وحوزة النجف وصلاة الجمعة العامة والثبات الديني في مواجهة الخوف السياسي. ولد في الثالث والعشرين من آذار سنة ١٩٤٣م في أسرة الصدر العلمية، واشتهر بلقب الشهيد الصدر الثاني. ويعد قبره من أبرز قبور العلماء المعاصرين في وادي السلام ويحفظ ذكر مرجع تجاوز تأثيره الدوائر الحوزوية الرسمية.
تنسب أسرة الصدر نسبها الموسوي إلى الإمام موسى الكاظم عليه السلام، وقد أنجبت علماء في العراق ولبنان وإيران. نشأ السيد محمد الصدر في رعاية والده السيد محمد صادق الصدر وجده لأمه الشيخ محمد رضا آل ياسين، ضمن بيئة علمية قوية. وجمعت هذه النشأة بين انضباط البيت والعبادة واللغة العربية والفقه والشعور بالمسؤولية العامة للعالم الديني.
درس ودرّس في حوزة النجف وبلغ مرتبة الاجتهاد. وتظهر مؤلفاته سعة مشروعه العلمي؛ فبحث في ما وراء الفقه مسائل تتجاوز الأبواب الفقهية المعتادة، وربط في فقه الأخلاق الحكم الشرعي بالسلوك، ودرس في موسوعة الإمام المهدي عليه السلام العقيدة والتاريخ والعلامات والأسئلة الاجتماعية في أجزاء متعددة. كما كتب في أصول الدين وحقوق الإنسان وأصول الفقه والفكر الاجتماعي، وألقى البحوث العليا في الفقه في النجف.
كان عراق التسعينيات يعيش آثار الحرب والحصار الاقتصادي وقمع انتفاضة سنة ١٩٩١م والرقابة الشديدة على المؤسسات الدينية. وبنى السيد محمد الصدر تدريجيا علاقة مباشرة مع عامة الناس والعشائر والعمال والشباب والأسر الفقيرة وسكان مدن المحافظات. وشجع التعليم الديني بلغة مفهومة، وعيّن ممثلين، واستمع إلى شكاوى الناس، ورأى أن المرجعية ينبغي أن تعرف مخاوف المجتمع وحاجاته الواقعية.
كان أبرز مشاريعه إحياء صلاة الجمعة العامة وتوسيعها. فقد صار الاجتماع الأسبوعي في مسجد الكوفة ومدن عراقية كثيرة موضعا متكررا للعبادة والتربية الأخلاقية والتواصل الاجتماعي والوعي العام. وتذكر الدراسات الأكاديمية أن الصلاة انتشرت في مناطق عديدة وجذبت أعدادا كبيرة. وكان يراها صلة بين الحوزة والمجتمع، بينما نظرت السلطة البعثية إلى التجمعات المستقلة بوصفها تحديا متزايدا لسيطرتها.
دعت خطبه إلى التقوى والتوبة ومسؤولية الأسرة ورعاية الفقراء ورفض الظلم وحماية الهوية الدينية للعراق والوحدة الاجتماعية السلمية. وخاطب الناس بلغة قريبة منهم، وانتقد العادات الرسمية والدينية التي تفصل العلم عن المجتمع. واشتهر في مرحلته الأخيرة بلبس الكفن في الخطبة، فصار ذلك رمزا للاستعداد للموت بدلا من الصمت؛ غير أن القيمة التاريخية الأساسية تبقى في الخطب العامة الموثقة والخطر الحقيقي المحيط بها.
في يوم الجمعة التاسع عشر من شباط سنة ١٩٩٩م، وبعد إلقاء خطبته الخامسة والأربعين في مسجد الكوفة، عاد باتجاه منزله في النجف. وفي المساء قتله هجوم مسلح مع ولديه السيد مصطفى الصدر والسيد مؤمل الصدر. وتربط الدراسات المعاصرة واللاحقة الاغتيال ببيئة الأمن البعثي وخوف السلطة من اتساع نفوذه المستقل، مع اختلاف الأخبار في تفاصيل التنفيذ والمسؤوليات الفردية.
أدى اغتياله إلى الحزن والاحتجاج والاعتقالات والاضطراب في مدن عراقية متعددة. واستمرت بعده صلاة الجمعة وشبكة الاتصال الديني الشعبي والطلاب والممثلون وحركة واسعة بقيت مؤثرة بعد سنة ٢٠٠٣م. ولا ينبغي اختزال إرثه في السياسة الحزبية اللاحقة؛ فهو يشمل التأليف الفقهي والتربية الأخلاقية وتقريب الحوزة من الفئات المهمشة ونموذج الكلام العلني حين قيّد الخوف قطاعات واسعة من المجتمع.
ربط دفنه في وادي السلام هذا العالم المعاصر بالجغرافيا المقدسة والعلمية المتراكمة في النجف عبر القرون. ويستحضر الزائر العلم والشجاعة والعبادة والخدمة والتضحية، بينما يدرس الباحث القبر بوصفه نقطة تجمع بين الحوزة والحكم البعثي والدين العام والقمع السياسي والحركات الاجتماعية العراقية الحديثة. والدرس الباقي أن العلم يزداد معنى حين يقترن بالمسؤولية الأخلاقية والإرشاد المفهوم ورعاية الضعفاء والشجاعة الشخصية.

الأهمية التاريخية / الدينية
يمثل هذا القبر موقعا مركزيا لفهم النجف الحديثة، لأنه يجمع بين العلم الحوزوي والمرجعية والخطاب الأسبوعي العام والضغط السياسي في عراق البعث. ويحفظ ذكر محاولة فقيه إعادة الاتصال المباشر بين الحوزة وقطاعات واسعة من المجتمع.
أعطت حركة صلاة الجمعة التعليم الديني صورة عامة منتظمة، وأنشأت شبكات في مدن عراقية كثيرة. ولم تكن أهميتها سياسية فقط، بل تعليمية واجتماعية أيضا، إذ تناولت الخطب العبادة والأخلاق والفقر والأسرة والوحدة الوطنية ومسؤوليات القيادة الدينية.
صار اغتيال السيد محمد الصدر وولديه في ١٩ شباط ١٩٩٩م حدثا كبيرا في تاريخ العراق أواخر القرن العشرين. وتظهر ردود الفعل عمق الارتباط الشعبي وشدة القمع الحكومي والعلاقة بين التجمع الديني والخوف السياسي.
أدخل دفنه في وادي السلام قصته الحديثة في الجغرافيا المقدسة القديمة للنجف. فالقبر للزائر رمز للعلم والشجاعة والخدمة والتضحية، وللباحث موقع أساسي لدراسة الحوزة وحكم البعث والدين الشعبي والحركات العراقية بعد سنة ١٩٩١م.
