التعريف
يقع مزار الشيخ المفيد رحمة الله عليه في الكاظمية قرب حرم الكاظمين، وهو من أبرز معالم التاريخ العلمي في بغداد. واسمه محمد بن محمد بن النعمان العكبري البغدادي، وعرف أيضا بابن المعلم نسبة إلى عمل والده في التعليم.
ولد في عكبرا أو ناحيتها في حدود سنة 336هـ أو 338هـ. ثم حمله والده إلى بغداد، وكانت المدينة يومئذ ميدانا واسعا لحلقات الإمامية والمعتزلة والفقهاء والمتكلمين وأهل الحديث. وفي هذا الجو نشأت شخصيته العلمية القوية.
أخذ عن أعلام كبار مثل الشيخ الصدوق وابن قولويه القمي وأبي ياسر وعلي بن عيسى الرماني وغيرهم. وقد جمع في علمه بين الرواية والعقل والكلام والفقه والمناظرة، فصار من كبار من نظموا الفكر الإمامي وأعطوه صياغة علمية دقيقة.
وتذكر المصادر في سبب لقب المفيد وجوها مختلفة. فبعضها يربطه بمناظرة علمية، وبعض الذاكرة الإمامية تربطه برسائل شريفة. وفي هذا المدخل يعرض اللقب بوصفه علامة على أثره العلمي وقوة حجته وخدمته للمدرسة الإمامية في بغداد، من غير تحويل الأخبار المتأخرة إلى دعوى قطعية غير محتاطة.
ومن أشهر تلامذته الشريف المرتضى والشريف الرضي والشيخ الطوسي رحمهم الله. وبواسطتهم امتد أثره إلى الكلام والفقه والأدب والحديث، ثم إلى الحياة العلمية في النجف. ومن هنا يمثل الشيخ المفيد جسرا بين مدرسة بغداد والمدرسة النجفية اللاحقة.
ومن كتبه الإرشاد وأوائل المقالات والمقنعة وتصحيح الاعتقاد والأمالي. فقد كان الإرشاد أصلا مهما في عرض سير الأئمة، وأعطت أوائل المقالات وتصحيح الاعتقاد لغة دقيقة للمسائل الكلامية، أما المقنعة فبقيت من النصوص المهمة في ترتيب الفقه الإمامي.
كانت مجالسه في بغداد معروفة بالهيبة العلمية والانضباط في الجدل. وقد أقر كثير من مخالفيه بقوة حفظه وحجته وحسن مناظرته. وهذا يجعل شخصيته نموذجا للعالم الذي يتحرك في بيئة خلافية واسعة مع الالتزام بالبرهان والمنهج.
توفي سنة 413هـ. ويذكر الشيخ الطوسي أن جنازته شهدت جمعا عظيما وأن بغداد شعرت بفقده. ودفن أولا في داره، ثم نقل بعد ذلك إلى الكاظمية قرب حرم الإمام موسى الكاظم عليه السلام، إلى جوار ابن قولويه القمي رحمة الله عليه.
يمثل مزاره للزائر ذكرى العلم والحجة والفقه والكلام وخدمة أهل البيت. وللباحث يكشف هذا الموضع أن تاريخ بغداد الديني ليس تاريخ خلافة وسياسة وعمارة فحسب، بل تاريخ كتب ودروس ومناظرات وتلامذة وسلاسل علمية أيضا.
وتكشف العناية بقبره الحالي في الكاظمية عن استمرار احترام العلم والعلماء. ففي سنة ٢٠١٦ نصب صندوق خشبي ووشاح جديدان على الضريح، ثم صنعت شبابيك جديدة لمرقده ومرقد أستاذه ابن قولويه. وتدل هذه المشاريع على أن قبره، مثل كتبه، ما زال يعد معلما علميا وزياراتيا حيا.

الأهمية التاريخية / الدينية
تنبع أهمية مزار الشيخ المفيد من كونه أحد أعمدة علم الكلام والفقه والمناظرة في المدرسة الإمامية. ودفنه قرب الكاظمين يربط أثره العلمي بالجغرافية الزيارية للكاظمية.
ويذكر هذا الموضع ببغداد التي نما فيها العلم لا في حلقات الدرس وحدها، بل في المناظرات والأسئلة والنقاشات الكلامية والتعامل مع مدارس متعددة. وقد منح الشيخ المفيد الفكر الإمامي صياغة علمية منظمة، وخرج تلامذة أثروا في القرون اللاحقة.
وللباحث يدل المزار على أن قبر العالم قد يصبح علامة على مدرسة كاملة، وسلسلة كتب، وجيل من التلامذة، وروح علمية لمدينة بأكملها.
