تعارف
مزار شیخ مفید رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کاظمیہ میں روضہ کاظمین کے قرب میں واقع ہے اور بغداد کی علمی تاریخ کا ایک نہایت اہم نشان ہے۔ شیخ مفید کا اصل نام محمد بن محمد بن نعمان العکبری البغدادی ہے، جبکہ “ابن المعلم” ان کے والد کے پیشے کی نسبت سے مشہور ہوا۔ آپ چوتھی اور پانچویں صدی ہجری کے اس دور سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں جب بغداد علم کلام، فقہ، مناظرہ، حدیث اور فلسفیانہ بحثوں کا بڑا مرکز تھا۔
آپ کی ولادت عکبرا کے علاقے میں 336ھ یا 338ھ کے قریب بیان کی جاتی ہے۔ والد نے ابتدائی تعلیم کے بعد آپ کو بغداد لایا، جہاں اس وقت امامی، معتزلی، حنفی، شافعی، حنبلی اور دیگر علمی حلقے ایک دوسرے سے بحث و مناظرہ کرتے تھے۔ اسی ماحول نے شیخ مفید رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کی علمی شخصیت کو غیر معمولی گہرائی دی۔
آپ نے شیخ صدوق، ابن قولویہ قمی، ابو یاسر، علی بن عیسیٰ رمانی اور دوسرے اہل علم سے استفادہ کیا۔ ان کے علمی مزاج میں روایت، عقل، کلام، فقہ اور مناظرہ ایک ساتھ جمع نظر آتے ہیں۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ وہ صرف راوی یا فقیہ نہیں رہے بلکہ امامی فکر کی منظم عقلی تشکیل کے بڑے معمار بنے۔
“مفید” کے لقب کے بارے میں مختلف بیانات ملتے ہیں۔ بعض روایات اسے ایک علمی مناظرے کے بعد ملنے والا لقب قرار دیتی ہیں، جبکہ امامی یادداشت میں اسے ایک توقیع کی نسبت سے بھی عزت دی جاتی ہے۔ اس اندراج میں اس لقب کو آپ کے علمی اثر، مناظرانہ قوت اور بغداد میں امامی مکتب کی خدمت کے عنوان سے بیان کیا گیا ہے، نہ کہ کسی غیر محتاط دعوے کے طور پر۔
آپ کے مشہور شاگردوں میں سید مرتضیٰ، سید رضی اور شیخ طوسی رحمہم اللہ کے نام خاص طور پر اہم ہیں۔ سید رضی نہج البلاغہ کی ترتیب سے معروف ہوئے، سید مرتضیٰ کلام و اصول کے عظیم امام بنے، اور شیخ طوسی نے بعد میں نجف کے علمی مرکز کو وسعت دی۔ اس طرح شیخ مفید بغداد اور نجف کی علمی تاریخ کے درمیان ایک پل کی حیثیت رکھتے ہیں۔
آپ کی تصانیف میں الارشاد، اوائل المقالات، المقنعہ، تصحیح الاعتقاد اور الامالی بہت اہم ہیں۔ الارشاد نے ائمہ اہل بیت علیہم السلام کی سیرت کو منظم انداز میں پیش کیا، جبکہ اوائل المقالات اور تصحیح الاعتقاد نے امامی عقائد کے دقیق مسائل کو علمی زبان دی۔ المقنعہ فقہی ترتیب کا اہم نمونہ ہے، جس پر بعد کے فقہی کاموں نے اثر لیا۔
شیخ مفید رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کی مجالس بغداد میں علمی وقار کی علامت تھیں۔ آپ کے بارے میں بیان کیا جاتا ہے کہ مخالف حلقے بھی ان کی ذہانت، حافظے، جواب کی قوت اور بحث کے آداب کو تسلیم کرتے تھے۔ اس پہلو سے آپ کی شخصیت ایک ایسے عالم کی ہے جو اختلافی ماحول میں بھی دلیل، ضبط اور علمی تہذیب کے ساتھ گفتگو کرتا ہے۔
آپ کی وفات 413ھ میں ہوئی۔ شیخ طوسی کے بیان کے مطابق آپ کے جنازے میں غیر معمولی مجمع ہوا اور بغداد کے مختلف طبقوں نے اس علمی نقصان کو محسوس کیا۔ پہلے آپ کو اپنے گھر میں دفن کیا گیا، پھر بعد میں کاظمیہ میں امام موسیٰ کاظم علیہ السلام کے روضے کے قرب میں منتقل کیا گیا، جہاں ابن قولویہ قمی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ بھی مدفون ہیں۔
زائر کے لیے شیخ مفید رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کا مزار علم، دلیل، فقہ، کلام اور اہل بیت کی علمی خدمت کی یاد ہے۔ محقق کے لیے یہ مقام اس حقیقت کو واضح کرتا ہے کہ بغداد کی دینی تاریخ صرف خلافت، سیاست یا عمارتوں کی تاریخ نہیں بلکہ کتاب، درس، مناظرہ، شاگردی اور علمی تسلسل کی تاریخ بھی ہے۔
کاظمیہ میں ان کے موجودہ مدفن کی نگہداشت بھی علمی احترام کی مسلسل روایت دکھاتی ہے۔ 2016ء میں قبر پر نیا لکڑی کا صندوق اور غلاف نصب کیا گیا، اور بعد میں شیخ مفید اور ان کے استاد ابن قولویہ کے لیے نئے مزاری جال تیار کیے گئے۔ یہ کام اس حقیقت کی علامت ہے کہ ان کی کتابی میراث کے ساتھ ان کے مزار کو بھی علمی و زیارتی یادگار سمجھا جاتا ہے۔

تاریخی / دینی اہمیت
شیخ مفید رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کا مزار بغداد کی علمی تاریخ میں اس لیے اہم ہے کہ وہ امامی علم کلام، فقہ اور مناظرانہ روایت کے بڑے ستونوں میں شمار ہوتے ہیں۔ کاظمیہ میں ان کی تدفین اس علمی سلسلے کو روضہ کاظمین کی زیارتی فضا سے جوڑ دیتی ہے۔
یہ مقام بغداد کے اس دور کی یاد دلاتا ہے جب علم صرف مدارس کی خاموش فضا میں نہیں بلکہ مناظروں، سوالات، عقلی مباحث اور متنوع مذہبی حلقوں کے درمیان پروان چڑھتا تھا۔ شیخ مفید نے اس ماحول میں امامی فکر کو منظم علمی زبان دی اور ایسے شاگرد پیدا کیے جنہوں نے بعد کی صدیوں کو متاثر کیا۔
محقق کے لیے یہ مزار اس بات کا واضح نشان ہے کہ کسی عالم کی قبر صرف ایک شخص کی یاد نہیں رہتی بلکہ ایک مکتب، کتابوں کے سلسلے، شاگردوں کی جماعت اور شہر کی علمی روح کی علامت بن جاتی ہے۔
