Al-Amali by al-Saduq is the principal source for the famous detailed account of Muhammad al-Asghar and Ibrahim; it is a later devotional/maqtal transmission and its details are not treated as uncontested early history. The Hillah Heritage Center and the Saraer study support the present Al-Musayib location, the disagreement over killing versus burial, the two-domed architecture, damage in 1917, and restorations in 1956, 1962, and 1974. Al-Irshad and al-Tabari provide the wider Muslim ibn Aqil and Karbala context but do not independently establish every detail of the children's story. | Page/Volume: خبر مسلم بن عقيل وأحداث الكوفة؛ الصفحات تختلف باختلاف الطبعات | Al-Amali by al-Saduq is the principal source for the famous detailed account of Muhammad al-Asghar and Ibrahim; it is a later devotional/maqtal transmission and its details are not treated as uncontested early history.
