Article role: PRIMARY MAIN BIOGRAPHICAL RECORD / LOCAL BURIAL ATTRIBUTION. The category remains Tabi'in because al-Dhahabi explicitly notes that Zayd ibn Suhan was included in Companion collections but that securely established companionship was not proven; he accepted Islam during the Prophet's lifetime and is often treated as a mukhadram. The Abd al-Qays lineage, brothers, early conquests, severed hand, virtue report, letter attributed to A'isha, banner succession, death at the Battle of the Camel in 36 AH, final instruction, and Ali's praise were preserved in all five languages. The current Kut al-Zayn structure is retained as the principal local burial tradition, while the exact earliest grave boundary remains later local memory.
