Article role: SECONDARY ATTRIBUTED FOOTSTEP MAQAM / NOT A BURIAL. Qur'an, hadith and tafsir support the story of Musa and al-Khidr and its ethical meanings, but do not support this Iraqi footstep as a proven trace. Local material places Khatwat al-Khidr beside the Euphrates in Al-Fadhliyah. Administrative sources support Al-Fadhliyah as a subdistrict of Suq al-Shuyukh District. The row therefore preserves a living local devotional place while clearly separating it from the Qur'anic journey and from any claim of a principal grave.
