صلالہ کے مرکزی حصے میں ایک طویل، محفوظ اور قبر نما یادگار واقع ہے جو عام طور پر مقبرہ نبی عمران یا نبی عِمران کے نام سے مشہور ہے۔ یہ شہر کی معروف علامت ہے اور ظفار کے مذہبی و ثقافتی منظرنامے کے حصے کے طور پر دیکھی جاتی ہے۔ مقامی نام اپنی سماجی اہمیت رکھتا ہے، لیکن اس نام کے پیچھے تاریخی شخصیت کی قطعی شناخت طے شدہ نہیں۔
مختلف مقامی روایات اس مقام کو الگ الگ شخصیات سے جوڑتی ہیں۔ بعض اسے حضرت مریم سلام اللہ علیہا کے والد عمران سے منسوب کرتے ہیں، بعض حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے والد کے نام سے جوڑتے ہیں، جبکہ بعض کے نزدیک یہاں عمران نامی کوئی بعد کا صالح شخص یا بزرگ مدفون ہے۔ یہ تمام روایات ایک ہی تاریخی شخص پر جمع نہیں ہو سکتیں اور دستیاب قدیم مصادر صلالہ کے لیے کسی ایک نسبت کو قطعی طور پر منتخب نہیں کرتے۔
قرآن مجید آلِ عمران کو فضیلت دیتا ہے اور حضرت مریم سلام اللہ علیہا کی والدہ کی نذر، حضرت مریم کی پرورش اور ان پر الٰہی نگہداشت کا ذکر کرتا ہے۔ کلاسیکی مسلم تفسیر میں اس عمران کو عموماً حضرت مریم کے والد کے طور پر پہچانا جاتا ہے۔ تاہم قرآن انہیں صراحت کے ساتھ نبی نہیں کہتا، ان کی تدفین بیان نہیں کرتا اور نہ ظفار سے کوئی تعلق قائم کرتا ہے۔ اس لیے قرآنی آیات کو صلالہ کی اس یادگار کی براہِ راست دلیل بنانا درست نہیں۔
قبر نما ڈھانچے کی غیر معمولی لمبائی اس مقام کی عوامی شناخت کا حصہ بن چکی ہے۔ کسی یادگاری قبر کی لمبائی بذاتِ خود مدفون شخصیت کے جسمانی قد یا تدفین کے زمانے کا ثبوت نہیں ہوتی۔ مسلم دنیا کے کئی علاقوں میں طویل مزاری ساخت احترام، قدیم حدود یا ایسی مقامی یاد کی علامت ہوتی ہے جس کی ابتدائی دستاویزات باقی نہیں رہیں۔
اسی بنا پر اس ریکارڈ میں معروف مقامی نام محفوظ رکھا گیا ہے، مگر مقام کو قطعی نبوی قبر کے بجائے زیرِ تحقیق منسوب مقام قرار دیا گیا ہے۔ زائرین اس یادگار کے صلالہ کی زندہ ثقافتی میراث میں کردار کا احترام کر سکتے ہیں، ساتھ ہی وحی، بعد کی تفسیر اور مقامی روایت کے درمیان فرق واضح رکھ سکتے ہیں۔ ثبوت کے مطابق بات کہنا احترام کو کم نہیں کرتا بلکہ اسے علمی دیانت سے مضبوط کرتا ہے۔
تاریخی / دینی اہمیت
یہ یادگار صلالہ کی قدیم شہری علامت اور اس بات کی مثال کے طور پر تاریخی اہمیت رکھتی ہے کہ مقدس یاد کس طرح کسی مقام سے وابستہ ہو جاتی ہے۔ نامزد شخصیت کی شناخت غیر یقینی ہونے کے باوجود اس کی عوامی شہرت نے مقامی زیارت، سیاحت اور مرکزی صلالہ کے مذہبی جغرافیے پر اثر ڈالا ہے۔
یہ ریکارڈ ماخذ شناسی کی تعلیم کے لیے بھی اہم ہے۔ قرآن میں آلِ عمران، بعد کی مسلم تفسیر اور صلالہ کی مقامی نسبت ثبوت کی الگ الگ سطحیں ہیں۔ انہیں جدا رکھنے سے یادگار کا احترام کے ساتھ اندراج ممکن ہوتا ہے اور مقامی عنوان کو قطعی نبوی تدفین کے دعوے میں بدلنے سے بچایا جا سکتا ہے۔
