التعريف

يعرف محمد بن علي العلوي رحمة الله عليه باسم صاحب مرباط. وتنسبه المدونات النسبية والسيرية الباعلوية إلى ذرية الإمام الحسين عليه السلام عبر علي العريضي وأحمد المهاجر والسلسلة العلوية الحضرمية. نشأ في البيئة العلمية لحضرموت ثم ارتبط بمدينة مرباط في ظفار، حيث بقي قبره من أشهر المعالم الدينية في المنطقة. تضع المصادر السيرية المتأخرة مولده وتكوينه الأول في نواحي تريم بحضرموت، وتذكر تعليمه داخل أسرته وعلى عدد من الشيوخ ثم سفره إلى ظفار. غير أن التسلسل الزمني وكثيرا من التفاصيل وصل عبر كتب الأنساب والمناقب المتأخرة لا عبر وثائق معاصرة. لذلك يمكن إثبات شخصيته وأثره الإقليمي بدرجة جيدة، مع نسبة التفاصيل الدقيقة إلى التقليد الباعلوي. اشتهر بلقب صاحب مرباط لإقامته في المدينة. وكانت مرباط ميناء مهما متصلا بطرق التجارة في جنوب الجزيرة والمحيط الهندي. وتعرضه الدراسات الثقافية العمانية عالما ومعلما وفقيها أسهم في تأسيس حلقة تعليمية في المنطقة. وتربطه الروايات اللاحقة بالفقه الشافعي والعقيدة الأشعرية، كما تذكر مسجدا أو موضع تدريس مرتبطا به، مما يضعه في الثقافة السنية العلمية والروحية لظفار في العصور الوسطى. تؤكد كتب التراجم على علمه وعبادته وكرمه وخدمته للطلاب والوافدين. وتذكر تلاميذ وذرية حملوا السلسلة العلمية العلوية إلى حضرموت ثم، في الأجيال اللاحقة، إلى شرقي أفريقيا والهند وجنوب شرقي آسيا. والأهمية العامة لهذه الشبكات ثابتة تاريخيا، مع أن الباحثين المحدثين يدرسون أدوار الأسلاف الأوائل وتفاصيل الأنساب دراسة نقدية. تمثل هجرته من حضرموت إلى ظفار نمطا صار أساسيا في تاريخ المحيط الهندي الغربي. فقد سافر العلماء والأسر السيدية مع التجار، ودرسوا الدين، وأقاموا روابط المصاهرة، وأنشأوا مؤسسات وصلت بين الموانئ البعيدة. ولذلك لا تقتصر ذاكرة صاحب مرباط على الولاية المحلية، بل تدخل في التاريخ المبكر للحركة العلمية بين اليمن وعمان والعالم البحري. أقوى تاريخ لوفاته في البحث الثقافي العماني المتاح هو سنة ٥٥٦هـ، الموافق ١١٦١م. فهذا التاريخ منقول عن شاهد القبر، وتكرره المصادر السيرية المتأخرة بصيغة صريحة. أما العبارة الأخرى فتذكر على نحو غير محدد أنه توفي بعد سنة ٥٥٠هـ ببضع سنين، ولا تثبت سنة ٥٥١هـ بعينها. وترتبط سنة ٥٥١هـ في الرواية المحلية بتأسيس جامع مرباط، لا بوفاة صاحب مرباط. وقد حافظ قبره في مرباط والبيئة الدينية المحيطة به واستمرار لقبه على ارتباط اسمه بالمدينة عبر القرون. تجتمع في المرقد تواريخ متعددة: الثقافة الدينية الظفارية، والعلم الحضرمي، والذاكرة النسبية الباعلوية، وحركة المحيط الهندي. ومن أبرز الدروس المستفادة طلب العلم وخدمة المجتمع الجديد وبناء التأثير بالتعليم لا بالإكراه. ويكتمل احترام المكان بالأمانة في نسبة الأخبار، ولا سيما التفاصيل التي تنفرد بها كتب المناقب المتأخرة.

الأهمية التاريخية / الدينية

يمثل صاحب مرباط أهمية في تاريخ ظفار الإقليمي لأنه يجسد صلة مبكرة ودائمة بين العلم الحضرمي والساحل العماني. وقد جعل دوره التعليمي المتوارث والمرقد واللقب المرتبط بالمدينة اسمه جزءا من الهوية الدينية لمرباط والذاكرة الثقافية لجنوب عمان. وله أهمية كذلك في تاريخ السادة الباعلوية. تضعه الأنساب المتأخرة في سلسلة صار لها أثر واسع في المحيط الهندي. وتنظر الدراسات الحديثة إلى هذه الأنساب بوصفها دعاوى نسب وسجلات اجتماعية نظمت بها الأسر العلمية الذاكرة والسلطة والحركة. للمرقد اليوم قيمة تعليمية وتراثية، إذ يلفت النظر إلى الحركة في العصور الوسطى بين حضرموت وظفار، ودور المدن الساحلية في نقل العلم، وضرورة قراءة كتب المناقب باحترام ووعي بالمصادر. وأهمية الموقع إقليمية ولا تقوم على ادعاء حج عالمي.
