تعارف
یہ مقام رشید ہجری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ سے منسوب زیارت گاہ ہے، مگر دستیاب قدیم مآخذ اسے ان کا قطعی مدفن ثابت نہیں کرتے۔ موجودہ مقام بابل کے الشہابیہ دیہی علاقے میں الکفل کے قریب واقع ہے، جبکہ رشید ہجری کی تاریخی شخصیت کا مضبوط تعلق کوفہ اور حضرت امام علی علیہ السلام کے خاص اصحاب سے ہے۔
رجال اور تذکروں میں ان کا نام رشید یا رُشید بن عقبہ ہجری کے طور پر محفوظ ہے۔ وہ امام علی علیہ السلام کے قریب شاگردوں اور وفادار ساتھیوں میں شمار کیے جاتے ہیں۔ شیعی رجالی روایت انہیں علمِ منایا و بلایا سے وابستہ اصحاب میں ذکر کرتی ہے، یعنی فتنوں، آزمائشوں اور آنے والے حالات سے متعلق خاص تعلیم کے حامل افراد میں۔
اموی اقتدار کے زمانے میں اہل بیت علیہم السلام سے وابستہ اصحاب سخت دباؤ کا سامنا کرتے تھے۔ رشید ہجری کے بارے میں روایات بیان کرتی ہیں کہ عبید اللہ بن زیاد یا اس کے عہد کے حکام نے ان سے امام علی علیہ السلام سے براءت کا مطالبہ کیا، مگر انہوں نے انکار کیا۔ بعد کی روایات ان کے ہاتھ پاؤں کاٹے جانے اور زبان کاٹے جانے کے بعد شہادت کا ذکر کرتی ہیں۔ جزئیات کے بیان میں اختلاف ہے، لیکن ان کی وفاداری اور ریاستی جبر میں قتل کی یاد مضبوط ہے۔
الکفل کے قریب موجود مقام اس تاریخی شخصیت کی مقامی عراقی یاد کو محفوظ کرتا ہے۔ مقام کی عمارت، زیارت اور عوامی نسبت اہم ہیں، مگر انہیں ابتدائی تدفینی دستاویز کے برابر نہیں سمجھنا چاہیے۔ اسی لیے یہ صفحہ مکمل سوانح کے بجائے موجودہ مقام، اس کی نسبت اور زائر کے لیے وضاحت پر مرکوز ہے۔
زائر کے لیے یہ جگہ حق پر ثابت قدمی، ظلم کے سامنے انکار اور استاد سے وفاداری کی یاد ہے۔ محقق کے لیے یہ مثال ہے کہ مضبوط تاریخی شخصیت اور کمزور تدفینی نسبت کو الگ درجوں میں محفوظ کرنا چاہیے۔
