آرامگاه عبدالله بن جابر انصاری بیاضی رضی الله عنه در مجموعه زیارتگاه سلمان فارسی در سلمان پاک مدائن قرار دارد. منابع حدیثی، عبدالله بن جابر را صحابیای از انصار معرفی میکنند و گزارشهای جدید عراقی قبر کنونی را با انتقال بقایای او در سال ۱۹۳۲ از محل دفنی قدیمی نزدیک دجله پیوند میدهند. او نباید با صحابی مشهورتر، جابر بن عبدالله انصاری، یکی دانسته شود؛ ترتیب این دو نام به دو هویت جدا تعلق دارد.

روایتی بهیادماندنی میگوید عبدالله نزد رسول خدا صلی الله علیه و آله وسلم آمد و زمانی سلام کرد که پیامبر تازه از قضای حاجت فارغ شده بود. پیامبر تا انجام طهارت پاسخ نداد، سپس سلام او را جواب گفت و درباره برترین سوره قرآن آموزش داد؛ در روایت، سوره فاتحه معرفی شده است. این واقعه ادب، طهارت و آموزش قرآنی را در کنار هم قرار میدهد و مهمترین رویداد زندگینامهای محفوظ درباره عبدالله بن جابر است.
