Page/Volume: ترجمة الإمام موسى الكاظم؛ تختلف الصفحات باختلاف الطبعة | Al-Irshad, al-Kafi, Tarikh Baghdad, Maqatil al-Talibiyyin and Uyun Akhbar al-Rida support Imam Musa al-Kazim's identity, scholarship, imprisonment, death and recognized burial in al-Kazimiyya. Karbala heritage sources preserve the later local tradition of a house, prayer place and teaching circle in Bab Baghdad or Aqd al-Sada, with a proposed period in 162–165 AH. The chronology is possible, but the exact residence and duration are not independently established in early sources. No physical footprint is documented. The Karbala site is therefore a secondary attributed place, not a grave.
