تعارف

بغداد کے شمالی علاقے الحسینیہ میں واقع یہ قبر مقامی طور پر حضرت لقمان حکیم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کی طرف منسوب ہے۔ مقام کا موجودہ وجود اور لقمان کے نام سے اس کی مقامی شہرت قابلِ توثیق ہیں، لیکن اسے حضرت لقمان کی قطعی قبر قرار دینے کے لیے مضبوط قدیم تاریخی دلیل دستیاب نہیں۔ قرآن مجید سورۂ لقمان کی آیات 12 تا 19 میں لقمان کو حکمت عطا کیے جانے اور اپنے بیٹے کو توحید، شکر، نماز، نیکی، صبر اور حسنِ اخلاق کی نصیحت کرنے کا ذکر کرتا ہے۔ قرآن ان کی جائے پیدائش، وفات یا مقامِ دفن متعین نہیں کرتا۔ مفسرین کی روایات میں ان کی سوانح اور نبوت کے بارے میں اختلاف ہے، جبکہ بہت سے اہلِ تفسیر انہیں ایک صالح حکیم قرار دیتے ہیں۔ اسلامی جغرافیہ کی قدیم کتابوں میں لقمان سے منسوب دوسری قبروں کا ذکر ملتا ہے۔ یاقوت حموی نے طبرِیہ کے مشرق میں ایک منسوب قبر اور یمن کی ایک دوسری نسبت نقل کی ہے اور خود یقین کا دعویٰ نہیں کیا۔ اس بنا پر الحسینیہ کا یہ مقام ایک حقیقی مقامی زیارت گاہ ہے، مگر اس کی نسبت کو احتیاط کے ساتھ “لقمان حکیم سے منسوب قبر” ہی کہا جائے گا۔

تاریخی / دینی اہمیت

اس مقام کی اہمیت دو الگ سطحوں پر ہے: لقمان حکیم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کی قرآن سے ثابت حکمت، اور بغداد کی مقامی روایت میں ان سے منسوب یہ قبر۔ درست تاریخی پیش کش کے لیے ان دونوں سطحوں کو الگ رکھنا ضروری ہے۔ یہ اندراج زائر اور قاری کو ایک طرف سورۂ لقمان کی اخلاقی تعلیمات سے جوڑتا ہے اور دوسری طرف یہ بتاتا ہے کہ مقدس شخصیات سے منسوب متعدد قبریں اسلامی دنیا میں پائی جاتی ہیں۔ ایسی نسبتوں کی عزت کے ساتھ حفاظت ہونی چاہیے، مگر قطعی تاریخی دعویٰ صرف مضبوط دلیل پر کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
