يقع هذا المزار في المسيب وينسب محليا إلى السيد مهدي بوصفه ابنا للإمام موسى الكاظم عليه السلام. ولا تثبت المصادر النسبية المبكرة المتاحة هذا الموضع مدفنا محققا، كما لا تتفق على تحديد الشخصية المنسوبة إليه بصورة مستقلة. ولذلك يعرض بوصفه مزارا محليا منسوبا إلى بيت الإمام.
