تعارف

سلیمانیہ میں ابراہیم احمد کی یہ قبر ایک ادیب، قانون دان، صحافی اور سیاسی رہنما کی شہری یادگار ہے، نہ کہ روایتی صوفی مزار۔ ابراہیم احمد 1914ء میں سلیمانیہ میں پیدا ہوئے، بغداد یونیورسٹی میں قانون پڑھا اور وکیل و جج کی حیثیت سے کام کیا۔

1939ء میں انہوں نے علاء الدین سجادی کے ساتھ کردی ادبی مجلہ «گلاویژ» قائم کیا اور اس کی ادارت کی۔ اس مجلے نے جدید کردی نثر، تنقید، کہانی اور فکری مباحث کے فروغ میں اہم کردار ادا کیا اور ابراہیم احمد کو ادبی صحافت کے نمایاں معماروں میں شامل کیا۔

ان کی زندگی کا ایک بڑا حصہ کردی سیاسی تحریک سے وابستہ رہا۔ مختلف جماعتی مناصب، قید، سیاسی و مسلح جدوجہد اور بعد میں لندن کی جلاوطنی نے ان کی تحریروں کو اجتماعی زندگی، قومی شناخت اور سیاسی ناانصافی کے تجربے سے جوڑ دیا۔

ان کا معروف ناول «ژانی گەل» 1956ء میں لکھا گیا اور 1972ء میں کردی میں شائع ہوا۔ ادبی تحقیق اسے جدید کردی ناول اور سماجی حقیقت نگاری کی نمایاں مثال قرار دیتی ہے، جس میں فرد کی کہانی کو کرد معاشرے کے سیاسی و اجتماعی دکھ کے ساتھ جوڑا گیا ہے۔

ابراہیم احمد کا انتقال 8 اپریل 2000ء کو لندن میں ہوا۔ سلیمانیہ میں ان کی قبر ان کے ادبی و سیاسی ورثے کی یاد دلاتی ہے، جبکہ ان کے نام کی فاؤنڈیشن اور جامعہ ایکسیٹر میں کردی مطالعات کی سرپرستی نے ان کی علمی یاد کو بین الاقوامی سطح پر بھی جاری رکھا ہے۔


تاریخی / دینی اہمیت

ابراہیم احمد جدید کردی ادب میں اس لیے بنیادی اہمیت رکھتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے ادبی صحافت، افسانوی نثر اور ناول کو معاشرتی و سیاسی تجربے کے ساتھ جوڑا۔ «گلاویژ» اور «ژانی گەل» نے کردی زبان میں جدید فکری اور بیانیہ اظہار کے امکانات کو وسعت دی۔

ان کا کردار ادب اور سیاست کے باہمی تعلق کی نمایاں مثال ہے۔ ان کی قبر اور ان کے نام سے قائم علمی ادارے کرد قومی تاریخ، جدید ادبی تشکیل، سیاسی تحریک اور جلاوطنی کے تجربے کو ایک مشترک یادداشت میں محفوظ کرتے ہیں۔
