Choose the Correct Channel
A focused submission can be reviewed more quickly and accurately.
Existing record correction
Wrong name, history, genealogy, translation, category, reference, image or GPS on a published or reviewed shrine.
New or missing location
A shrine, maqam, grave or historical place that is not yet represented, or a location that needs new map evidence.
Photograph or gallery matter
Image submission, photographer credit, caption correction, privacy concern or copyright/removal request.
Research and collaboration
Academic citation, source exchange, fieldwork, institutional cooperation, datasets or specialist review.
Technical or accessibility issue
Broken page, language display, keyboard navigation, mobile layout, QR, PDF, search or form error.
Privacy or legal concern
Personal information, copyright, impersonation, security, urgent removal or rights-related notice.
Historical and Record Corrections
Use the correction form when the issue belongs to an existing shrine page.
Identify the permanent shrine code or exact page URL. Explain what is inaccurate and provide the strongest available source, page number, map link, photograph, signboard or field observation.
The correction form is preferable to a general email because it keeps the submission connected to the record and the admin review queue.
GPS and New Location Suggestions
Use the location form for a missing place or substantial coordinate evidence.
Provide the country, province or governorate, city, local name, map link and what the point represents. A photograph of signage, entrance, road or surrounding landmark can be especially useful.
Do not submit a copied pin without explaining its source. If the record already exists and only its GPS is wrong, use the correction form and include the permanent code.
Gallery Images, Credit and Rights
Photographs remain pending until approval.
For a new gallery image, use the upload option on the relevant shrine page when available. Include the approximate date, photographer or source, location and permission information.
For an urgent copyright, privacy, misidentification or removal request, use the official contact email once configured and identify the exact page and image.
Avoid identity documents, private addresses, confidential family records or high-risk personal information. Contact first if secure handling is required.
Academic and Institutional Collaboration
Specialist review and source exchange are welcome.
- Propose a correction or review based on a published book, manuscript, article, archival record or field survey.
- Request a stable citation for a record or discuss how multilingual names and permanent codes should be referenced.
- Suggest collaboration on regional coverage, genealogy, architecture, mapping or photographic documentation.
- Identify yourself, your institution where relevant, the geographic or scholarly scope, and the practical purpose of the request.
- Do not send confidential, embargoed or restricted research unless an appropriate handling arrangement has been agreed first.
Technical and Accessibility Feedback
Useful reports describe what happened, where and on which device.
- Provide the page URL, language, date and approximate time.
- Describe the action taken and the expected versus actual result.
- Include browser, device and screen size where relevant.
- Attach a screenshot only after removing private information.
- For security vulnerabilities, avoid public comments and use the official contact channel.
Privacy, Copyright and Removal Requests
Rights-related requests need enough detail to verify identity and scope.
State the exact URL, content, image or personal information concerned; explain your relationship to the material and the action requested. The project may ask for reasonable evidence before removing or changing material.
A request may be acknowledged while the relevant public material is restricted during review. Research history may be retained in a non-public or non-personal form where lawful and necessary.
Response and Review Expectations
Research review may take longer than a simple technical reply.
Submissions are prioritized by safety, privacy, legal urgency, publication impact and the quality of evidence. A clear GPS correction or broken link may be resolved quickly; a disputed genealogy or burial attribution may require comparison of several sources.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance, public credit or an individual response. Repeated duplicate messages may slow review and may be filtered as spam.
Official Contact Details
The public email is controlled through the deployment configuration.
The official public email is configured separately from the page content so it can be changed when the final domain and project identity are selected. General inquiries, collaboration, urgent rights notices and technical reports may use that address once it is published.
