Multan
Multan is an ancient city of southern Punjab with a long role in trade, Islamic learning and Sufi tradition. Pakistan's UNESCO Tentative List records the fourteenth-century Tomb of Shah Rukn-e-Alam as a major work of Multan's Islamic architecture.
This page maps the city's shrines, mosques and historic places together. Every claim about a burial, lineage or miracle requires its own evidence; the city's general reputation does not automatically authenticate an individual attribution.
