Karachi
Karachi is the capital of Sindh and Pakistan's major port city on the Arabian Sea. The official city history connects its modern growth with the coastal settlement of Kolachi and Gulf trade, while the protected Chaukhandi tombs document a regional funerary tradition of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
This page places shrines, cemeteries and Islamic sites across greater Karachi in their correct geographic setting. Because the metropolis is extensive and some identifications depend on later local memory, every burial or personal attribution requires evidence specific to that record.
