العکر کے مقام کا اپنا مقامی وجود اور مذہبی جغرافیہ واضح ہے۔ مزار کے گرد قبرستان ہے اور زرعی ندی پر گزرنے والی قنطرہ کو اہل علاقہ نبی دانیال کی قنطرہ کہتے ہیں۔ 2018ء کی ایک عراقی رپورٹ کے مطابق قنطرہ گرنے سے زائرین اور جنازوں کی آمد دشوار ہوئی تو دیہاتیوں نے محدود وسائل سے نئی گزرگاہ بنائی۔ یہ واقعہ بتاتا ہے کہ مقام مقامی خاندانوں کی زیارت، تدفین اور اجتماعی خدمت سے جڑا ہوا ہے۔
