تعارف
سید حمزہ بن قاسم، المعروف حمزہ غربی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کا مزار صوبہ بابل میں شہر حلہ کے جنوب، مدحتیہ میں واقع ہے۔ یہ تیسری صدی ہجری کے اس علوی عالم سے وابستہ معروف مرکزی مدفن ہے جن کا نسب حضرت عباس بن علی علیہ السلام تک پہنچتا ہے۔ گرد و پیش کی آبادی بھی الحمزة الغربی کے نام سے مشہور ہوئی، جس سے ظاہر ہوتا ہے کہ مزار نے علاقے کی دینی اور شہری شناخت پر گہرا اثر ڈالا۔
نسب اور رجال کی کتابوں میں آپ کا پورا نام ابو یعلیٰ حمزہ بن قاسم بن علی بن حمزہ بن حسن بن عبید اللہ بن عباس بن علی بن ابی طالب محفوظ ہے۔ اس نسبت سے آپ کربلا کے علم بردار حضرت عباس علیہ السلام کی اولاد کی علمی شاخ سے تعلق رکھتے تھے۔ آپ کی عظمت صرف نسب کی وجہ سے نہیں؛ نجاشی نے آپ کو ثقہ، جلیل القدر، امامی علمی جماعت کے رکن اور کثیر الحدیث قرار دیا ہے۔
آپ سے منسوب تصانیف آپ کی علمی وسعت کو ظاہر کرتی ہیں۔ ان میں امام جعفر صادق علیہ السلام سے روایت کرنے والے رجال کا تعارف، توحید پر کتاب، زیارات و مناسک، اور محمد بن جعفر اسدی کے رد میں تصنیف شامل ہے۔ یہ عنوانات بتاتے ہیں کہ آپ رجال، عقیدہ، عبادات اور منقول دینی روایت کی حفاظت میں سرگرم تھے۔
آپ سے روایت یا علمی تعلق رکھنے والوں میں علی بن محمد قلانسے اور ہارون بن موسیٰ تلعکبری کے نام آتے ہیں۔ بعد کی فہرست اور رجال کی کتابوں میں ان کا ذکر اس بات کی دلیل ہے کہ حمزہ بن قاسم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ایک حقیقی علمی سلسلے کا حصہ تھے، محض مقامی بزرگ کا نام نہیں۔ آپ کی خدمت نے راویوں کی پہچان، روایات کی جانچ اور زیارتی علم کی ترتیب کو مضبوط کیا۔
حلّہ کے جنوب میں آپ کی تدفین کی روایت علاقے میں بہت قدیم اور مضبوط ہے۔ بعد کی مقامی تاریخوں کے مطابق آپ سفر کے دوران اس خطے میں وفات پا گئے اور اسی مقام پر دفن ہوئے جو آگے چل کر بڑا زیارتی مرکز بنا۔ سفر کی تفصیلات مقامی تاریخی روایت میں محفوظ ہیں، جبکہ قبر کی نسبت عراقی علما اور عوام کے درمیان طویل عرصے سے مشہور رہی ہے۔ الحمزة الغربی کا نام اسے جنوب میں واقع الحمزة الشرقی سے الگ کرتا ہے۔
موجودہ مزار نماز، زیارت، دینی اجتماعات اور زائرین کی خدمت کا مرکز ہے۔ اس کی اہمیت شخصی بھی ہے اور جغرافیائی بھی: یہاں ایک محدث و رجالی عالم، حضرت عباس علیہ السلام کی نسل، اور بابل کے سورا و مدحتیہ کے تاریخی ماحول کی یاد ایک جگہ جمع ہوتی ہے۔
آپ کی زندگی کا سبق یہ ہے کہ معزز نسب کی حقیقی قدر علم، امانت اور عمل سے ظاہر ہوتی ہے۔ محبتِ اہل بیت علیہم السلام صرف جذبات نہیں بلکہ روایت کی حفاظت، راوی کی تحقیق اور عبادت کے صحیح علم کا نام بھی ہے۔ مزارِ حمزہ غربی آج بھی نسب، علم اور زیارت کو جوڑنے والا اہم علاقائی مرکز ہے۔
