Sahih al-Bukhari preserves an extraordinary event in which Allah publicly cleared Prophet Musa of a harmful bodily accusation. Musa was exceptionally modest and bathed in seclusion. Some among Bani Israel turned that modesty into suspicion and attributed a bodily defect to him. During one private bath, Musa placed his clothes on a stone; the stone moved away carrying them, and Musa pursued it until the accusation was publicly disproved. Bukhari explicitly connects this vindication with Qur’an 33:69, while a second sahih route independently confirms the moving-stone core.

The Qur’an presents Prophet Isa giving life to the dead as one of the clearest signs of his mission to the Children of Israel. In Ali ‘Imran 3:49, Isa explicitly says that he gives life to the dead by Allah’s permission. Al-Ma’idah 5:110 later recalls the same act as one of Allah’s favors and again repeats the divine-permission boundary. The miracle therefore supports prophethood without implying independent power. The surrounding verses connect these signs to obedience to Allah’s messenger, worship of Allah alone, and the straight path.

The Qur’an presents Prophet Isa’s healing of al-akmah and al-abras as clear signs given in his mission to the Children of Israel. In Ali ‘Imran, the healings appear among extraordinary evidences that he announces as coming from his Lord. Al-Ma’idah later recalls the same acts as divine favors and repeatedly states that they occurred by Allah’s permission. The signs are not presented as independent healing power: they support Isa’s prophetic call to obey Allah’s messenger and worship Allah alone.

The Qur’an recounts that Prophet Salih called Thamud to worship Allah alone and presented Allah’s she-camel as a clear sign and trial. The people were ordered to let her graze, respect her appointed share of water, and not harm her. They hamstrung the she-camel in defiance, received a three-day warning, and were then overtaken by punishment, while Salih and the believers were saved.

The Qur’an presents the clay-bird event as one of the clear signs Prophet Isa عليه السلام brought to the Children of Israel. He announced that he would shape from clay something like a bird, breathe into it, and it would become a bird by Allah’s permission. Surah al-Ma’idah later recalls the same act as a favor Allah granted Isa and repeats the divine-permission wording around both the shaping and the result. The miracle therefore confirms his prophethood while keeping the source of creative power with Allah alone.

The Qur’an presents the cradle speech of Prophet Isa as a direct prophetic sign and a moment of divine vindication for Maryam. When she returned carrying her newborn child, her people confronted her with a grave accusation. Maryam did not argue; she pointed to the infant. They protested that a child in the cradle could not answer them. Then Isa spoke coherently, declaring himself Allah’s servant and prophet, describing his future religious duties and his duty to his mother. The event had already been foretold in Ali ‘Imran 3:46 and is later recalled again in Al-Ma’idah 5:110 as a divine favor.

The Qur’an tells the story of Maryam’s extraordinary conception and the birth of Prophet Isa عليه السلام without a human father as a clear sign of Allah’s creative power. An angelic messenger appeared to Maryam and gave her the good news of a pure son. She asked how this could happen when no man had touched her and she had never been unchaste. The answer was that the matter was easy for Allah and that the child would be a sign for humanity and a mercy from Him. Maryam then became pregnant, withdrew to a remote place, and at the pains of childbirth was given reassurance, water and fresh dates.

The Qur’an states that Allah granted Prophet Dawud a special bounty and made iron pliable for him. He was commanded to make complete coats of armour and to proportion their linked construction carefully. Another passage says Allah taught him this protective craft for the benefit of people in battle, linking the extraordinary gift with skilled work, gratitude, and righteous action.

The Qur’an gives a direct and unusually complete healing sequence involving Prophets Yusuf and Yaqub. Yaqub’s eyes had become white from grief over Yusuf. After Yusuf was reunited with his brothers in Egypt, he gave them his shirt and told them to place it over their father’s face, stating that he would become seeing again. As the caravan departed, Yaqub said that he could perceive Yusuf’s scent. When the bearer of good news arrived and cast the shirt over his face, the Qur’an states that Yaqub returned seeing. Classical tafsir confirms this core while preserving additional, non-Qur’anic details with varying reports.

The Qur’an repeatedly describes a remarkable favor granted to Prophet Dawud عليه السلام: Allah subjected the mountains and the birds to join him in glorifying their Lord. Surah Sad places the scene in the evening and after sunrise, with the mountains praising alongside him and the birds gathered and responsive. Surah Saba commands the mountains to repeat praise with Dawud, and Surah al-Anbiya emphasizes that Allah Himself caused this extraordinary harmony. Classical tafsir connects the scene with Dawud’s beautiful recitation of the Zabur, while authentic hadith preserves the wider Davidic tradition of an exceptionally melodious voice.

The Qur’an presents Prophet Sulaiman’s understanding of non-human speech as an explicit divine gift. He publicly says that he had been taught the speech of birds and calls the wider endowment a manifest favor from Allah. At the valley of the ants, he understands a single ant warning its community, smiles at her words, and immediately prays for gratitude, righteous action, and Allah’s mercy. The same gift appears again when the hoopoe brings detailed news from Saba, yet Sulaiman does not accept the report blindly: he decides to test its truth and then sends the bird with a letter.

After asking Allah for forgiveness, Prophet Sulaiman عليه السلام prayed for a kingdom unlike any that would follow him. The Qur’an then describes jinn and devils serving within that divinely granted dominion as builders, divers and other workers, while rebellious ones were restrained. Their service existed only by Allah’s permission and control. The story later sets a decisive boundary: after Sulaiman’s death, the jinn themselves were shown not to possess knowledge of the unseen.
