يسجل مزار علي بن يقطين رحمة الله عليه في البصرة بوصفه مزارا منسوبا، بينما ترتبط هويته التاريخية الأقوى بالعصر العباسي وبغداد وبحلقة الإمام موسى الكاظم عليه السلام. وتذكره كتب الرجال والتاريخ الإمامي بوصفه رجل دولة وراوية وفقيها ومواليا مخلصا لأهل البيت.

اسمه علي بن يقطين بن موسى البغدادي، وكنيته أبو الحسن، وأصله كوفي، وكان من موالي بني أسد. واختلفت الأقوال في سنة ولادته بين 120هـ و121هـ و124هـ، أما وفاته فتذكر غالبا سنة 182هـ. وقد وصفه الشيخ الطوسي بالثقة والجلالة وعظم المنزلة عند الإمام موسى الكاظم عليه السلام.

كان بيت علي بن يقطين متصلا بالنظام السياسي العباسي، فقد كان أبوه يقطين من المرتبطين بالدعوة العباسية والدولة. أما علي فكان قلبه مع أهل البيت، فصارت هذه الثنائية أبرز ملامح حياته: منصب ظاهر في الدولة وولاء باطن للإمام موسى الكاظم عليه السلام وخدمة لأتباع أهل البيت.

وقد أذن له الإمام موسى الكاظم عليه السلام بالبقاء في منصبه ليكون عونا للمظلومين وقضاء الحوائج وحماية المؤمنين. وتذكر الروايات أنه لم يستعمل منصبه للجاه الشخصي، بل للتخفيف عن الناس وحفظ من يتعرضون للضغط. ومن هنا أصبحت سيرته مثالا دقيقا للتوازن بين المسؤولية السياسية والضمير الديني.

ومن أشهر ما ينقل عنه خبر الوضوء. فقد أمره الإمام موسى الكاظم عليه السلام في وقت معين أن يتوضأ بطريقة ترفع عنه الشبهة في أجواء البلاط. فلما اشتد ظن هارون الرشيد به نفعه ذلك السلوك الظاهر في دفع الخطر. ثم أذن له الإمام بعد ذلك بالعودة إلى الطريقة الفقهية الأصلية. وتعرض المصادر الإمامية هذا الخبر في باب الحكمة والحفظ وتدبير الإمام.

وينقل أيضا أن هارون أهدى علي بن يقطين ثوبا نفيسا، فأرسله علي إلى الإمام موسى الكاظم عليه السلام، فرده الإمام إليه وأمره بحفظه لأنه سيحتاج إليه. فلما اتهم بعد ذلك بأنه أرسل عطية الخليفة إلى الإمام أظهر الثوب فاندفع عنه البلاء. ويذكر هذا الخبر في الذاكرة الإمامية دليلا على بصيرة الإمام ووفاء علي بن يقطين الخفي.

روى علي بن يقطين عن الإمام الصادق والإمام الكاظم عليهما السلام، وعد من أصحاب الإمام الكاظم المهمين. وتنسب إليه روايات كثيرة، مما يدل على أنه لم يكن وزيرا سياسيا فحسب، بل كان جزءا من شبكة علمية وروائية متصلة ببيت الإمامة.

أما وفاته فترتبط في أشهر الأقوال ببغداد، ولذلك يذكر مزار البصرة هنا بوصفه مزارا منسوبا يحتاج في نسبة الدفن إلى احتياط. فقد تكون الذاكرة المحلية حفظت اسمه تعظيما، غير أن الجزم بموضع الدفن يحتاج إلى توثيق مستقل.

يمثل المزار للزائر معنى الأمانة والحكمة والحذر الشرعي وخدمة المظلومين والولاء للإمام موسى الكاظم عليه السلام. أما الباحث فيجد في علي بن يقطين مثالا نادرا على التداخل بين الدولة العباسية والشبكات الإمامية وخطر البلاط والمسؤولية الدينية.

تكمن أهمية علي بن يقطين رحمة الله عليه في أنه كان مواليا لأهل البيت داخل النظام السياسي العباسي، واستعمل موقعه في نصرة المظلومين وقضاء الحوائج. وتظهر سيرته أن المسؤولية الدينية قد تؤدى أحيانا في بيئة سياسية خطرة.

ويمثل خبر الوضوء وخبر الثوب في الذاكرة الإمامية صورتين من الحكمة والحفظ وإرشاد الإمام موسى الكاظم عليه السلام. وهذه الأخبار تجعل صورته أكثر حضورا عند القراء، مع ضرورة فهمها ضمن المصادر التي نقلتها.
