Notes: Page/Volume: Section on Imam Ali al-Hadi and his children; pagination varies by edition | Kitab al-Irshad, Umdat al-Talib and the modern study of Imam Ali al-Hadi's children were used to compare the established family lists. They do not securely identify the occupant of the Al-Ashar shrine as a direct son named Abdullah. Modern Iraqi shrine and reconstruction reports establish the present place, public name, administration and continuing visitation, but not the early genealogy. The article therefore preserves the local household attribution and removes unsupported speculation about which unrecorded descendant might be buried here. | Page/Volume: Genealogical section on descendants of Imam Ali al-Hadi; pagination varies by edition | Kitab al-Irshad, Umdat al-Talib and the modern study of Imam Ali al-Hadi's children were used to compare the established family lists.
