التعريف
هذا الموضع الزياري المشترك في وادي السلام بالنجف منسوب إلى النبي هود والنبي صالح عليهما السلام. وتصفه إدارة المقام والذاكرة التعبدية المحلية بأنه يضم قبريهما، غير أن القرآن الكريم والتفاسير المعتمدة والمصادر التاريخية المبكرة لا تعين هذا الموضع النجفي بعينه مدفناً لهما تعييناً قاطعاً. لذلك يقدم باحترام بوصفه مقاماً منسوباً، لا قبراً لا خلاف في ثبوته.
أما تاريخ البناء القائم فهو متأخر نسبياً وأوضح توثيقاً. تذكر تقارير المزارات العراقية علامة أقدم نسبت إلى العلامة بحر العلوم، ثم قبة من الآجر أقيمت بعد نذر محلي. وجرت إعادة البناء في عامي ألفين وأربعة وألفين وخمسة، ثم توسعة سنة ألفين وخمسة عشر، واكتملت مرحلة بناء كبيرة جديدة سنة ألفين وتسعة عشر. وهذا يثبت تطور المزار الحديث، لكنه لا يثبت وحده نسبة دفن قديمة. كما تبين هذه المراحل أن شهرة البناء الحالي مرتبطة بإدارة المزارات في العصر الحديث.
يذكر القرآن النبي هوداً عليه السلام رسولاً إلى قوم عاد. دعاهم إلى عبادة الله وترك الكبر وتحمل المسؤولية الأخلاقية. وقد اغتر قومه بالقوة والعمران، فبين لهم أن القدرة المادية لا ترفع المحاسبة. وتعلم قصته الثبات والنصيحة الصادقة وعاقبة الغرور الجماعي.
وأرسل النبي صالح عليه السلام إلى قوم ثمود. وحفظ القرآن آية الناقة وتمرد القوم ونقضهم للعهد. وكان في رسالته وجوب احترام آيات الله وحماية الضعفاء وترك الفساد في الأرض. وتبقى قصته مثالاً مؤثراً لفهم الموارد الطبيعية والمسؤولية المشتركة وعاقبة الظلم.
تنبع قيمة هذا المقام من إبقاء ذكر نبيين قرآنيين حاضراً في الجغرافيا المقدسة لوادي السلام. ويستطيع الزائر الدعاء والتلاوة فيه، على أن يفرق التعريف المسؤول بين السيرة القرآنية والنسبة المحلية المتأخرة والبناء الحديث الموثق والدفن الثابت تاريخياً. فهذا الاحتياط يحفظ الاحترام ويمنع المبالغة في الدليل.
الأهمية التاريخية / الدينية
يعد الموضع جزءاً مهماً من الثقافة الزيارية الواسعة لوادي السلام، إذ يربط ذكر الأنبياء بالجغرافيا الدينية للنجف. ويمثل بناؤه القائم وإدارته وتوسعته نموذجاً موثقاً من تراث المزارات العراقي الحديث.
تؤكد التعاليم القرآنية المرتبطة بهود وصالح عليهما السلام التوحيد والمحاسبة الجماعية وحماية الضعفاء ومقاومة الكبر. ويجمع المقام هذه المعاني في مكان مشترك للتذكر لدى الزائرين.
