معرفی

این زیارتگاه مشترک در وادی‌السلام نجف به حضرت هود و حضرت صالح، درود بر آن دو، منسوب است. اداره زیارتگاه و حافظه آیینی محلی آن را محل قبر هر دو پیامبر می‌دانند، اما قرآن، تفسیرهای معتبر و منابع تاریخی نخستین این نقطه مشخص در نجف را به طور قطعی آرامگاه آنان معرفی نمی‌کنند. از این رو مکان با احترام به عنوان مقامی منسوب معرفی می‌شود، نه قبری که در اثبات آن هیچ اختلافی وجود نداشته باشد.

تاریخ ساختمان کنونی متأخرتر و بهتر مستند شده است. گزارش‌های زیارتی عراق از نشانه‌ای قدیمی‌تر منسوب به علامه بحرالعلوم، سپس گنبدی آجری که بر پایه نذری محلی ساخته شد، سخن می‌گویند. بازسازی در سال‌های دو هزار و چهار و دو هزار و پنج انجام شد، در سال دو هزار و پانزده توسعه یافت و مرحله‌ای بزرگ از بنای تازه در سال دو هزار و نوزده پایان پذیرفت. این اطلاعات رشد زیارتگاه جدید را ثابت می‌کند، ولی به تنهایی دلیل دفن کهن نیست.

حضرت هود، درود بر او، در قرآن پیامبر قوم عاد معرفی شده است. او مردم خود را به پرستش خدا، ترک تکبر و پذیرفتن مسئولیت اخلاقی فراخواند. قوم او به قدرت و ساختمان‌های عظیم خود می‌بالیدند، در حالی که هود یادآور شد توان مادی انسان را از پاسخ‌گویی آزاد نمی‌کند. روایت او درس پایداری، خیرخواهی راستین و پیامد غرور جمعی است.

حضرت صالح، درود بر او، به سوی قوم ثمود فرستاده شد. قرآن نشانه شتر، سرکشی قوم و شکستن پیمان را حفظ کرده است. پیام او احترام به نشانه‌های الهی، پاسداری از حقوق ناتوانان و دوری از فساد در زمین بود. داستان او نمونه‌ای روشن برای فهم منابع طبیعی، مسئولیت مشترک و پیامد ستم است.

ارزش این مقام در آن است که یاد دو پیامبر قرآنی را در جغرافیای مقدس وادی‌السلام زنده نگه می‌دارد. زائر می‌تواند در اینجا دعا و تلاوت کند، اما معرفی مسئولانه باید میان زندگانی قرآنی، نسبت محلی متأخر، ساختمان جدید مستند و دفن ثابت تاریخی تفاوت بگذارد. این احتیاط هم حرمت زیارت را نگاه می‌دارد و هم از بزرگ‌نمایی شواهد جلوگیری می‌کند.


اهمیت تاریخی / دینی

این مکان بخش مهمی از فرهنگ زیارتی گسترده وادی‌السلام است و یاد پیامبران را با جغرافیای دینی نجف پیوند می‌دهد. ساختمان کنونی، اداره و توسعه آن نمونه‌ای مستند از میراث زیارتگاه‌های جدید عراق است.

آموزه‌های قرآنی هود و صالح، درود بر آن دو، بر یکتاپرستی، پاسخ‌گویی جمعی، حمایت از ناتوانان و دوری از تکبر تأکید دارد. مقام این مفاهیم را در یک جایگاه مشترک یادبود برای زائران گرد می‌آورد.
