Notes: Article role: SECONDARY ATTRIBUTED PLACE / BURIAL NOT CLASSICALLY PROVEN. Genealogical and hadith sources support Muhammad ibn Aqil's Hashimite identity, marriage to Zaynab al-Sughra, named sons, and the transmission legacy of his son Abd Allah. Early sources do not provide a continuous proof for his principal burial at Al-Musayyib. The site is therefore kept as an attributed shrine and clearly distinguished from the nearby shrine of Muhammad and Ibrahim, sons of Muslim ibn Aqil.
