Classical histories support Ibrahim's Nakha'i lineage, leadership in al-Mukhtar's movement, victory at al-Khazir, the death of Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, government around Mosul, later alliance with Mus'ab ibn al-Zubayr and death at Maskin or Dayr al-Jathaliq around 71-72 AH. Classical histories support Ibrahim's Nakha'i lineage, leadership in al-Mukhtar's movement, victory at al-Khazir, the death of Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, government around Mosul, later alliance with Mus'ab ibn al-Zubayr and death at Maskin or Dayr al-Jathaliq around 71-72 AH. Al-Dhahabi explicitly describes him as a virtuous Shia figure, supporting is_shia = Yes. The approved category was corrected from Tabi'in because the sources establish a military and political figure of the Tabi'i era, not a securely documented direct student of a Companion. Modern Iraqi reporting supports the active Dujail shrine, development work and a later attack, while the exact archaeological boundary of the original battlefield grave remains Level B. | Page/Volume:
