परिचय
करबला के बाब अल-ख़ान क्षेत्र में स्थित बाईं हथेली का मक़ाम, हज़रत अब्बास इब्न अली अलैहिस्सलाम और आशूरा की घटनाओं से जुड़ा एक स्मारक स्थल है। यह उनकी दफ़्नगाह नहीं है; उनका प्रसिद्ध रौज़ा अलग स्थान पर है। यह मक़ाम उस बाद की ज़ियारती परंपरा को सुरक्षित रखता है जिसके अनुसार इमाम हुसैन अलैहिस्सलाम के ख़ेमों तक पानी पहुँचाने की अंतिम कोशिश में उनकी बाईं हथेली यहाँ गिरी थी।
