Tasmiyat and Rijal al-Tusi support the Hanzala al-Shibami identity. The inspected Karbala section of al-Irshad does not contain this Hanzala report, so that citation was removed. Hanzala ibn Sa'd remains a manuscript variant, while Sa'd ibn Hanzala may be a separate martyr and is no longer treated as an alias.
