Al-Tabari's Abu Mikhnaf material strongly preserves Mujamma's arrival near Udhayb al-Hijanat, Imam Husayn's protection of the group, Mujamma's assessment of Kufa, and the joint combat in which al-Abbas broke the encirclement before the four companions were martyred. Tasmiyat independently preserves Mujamma and his son A'idh in the martyr list. Later genealogical sources add the extended lineage, his father's Companion status, Siffin participation and first-assault placement; those points remain clearly attributed to later biography.
