The early translated list explicitly records Jundab ibn Hujayr as entry 72 and Hujayr ibn Jundab as his son at entry 73. Rijal al-Tusi and Ibsar al-Ayn support Jundab's association with Imam Husayn and his Karbala martyrdom. Ibsar al-Ayn nevertheless records hesitation about the son's independent attestation in later ziyarat lists.
