हज़रत जाफ़र अमीरुल मोमिनीन इमाम अली इब्न अबी तालिब अलैहिस्सलाम के पुत्र थे। उनकी माता सैयदा फ़ातिमा बिन्त हिज़ाम कल्बिय्या, प्रसिद्ध उम्मुल बनीन सलामुल्लाह अलैहा थीं। वह हज़रत अब्बास, अब्दुल्लाह और उस्मान इब्न अली के सगे भाई तथा इमाम हुसैन के पैतृक भाई थे।

उम्मुल बनीन के युवा पुत्र, इमाम हुसैन के पैतृक भाई और हज़रत अब्बास के सगे भाई, जिन्होंने अमान अस्वीकार की और आशूरा में अहल अल-बैत की रक्षा करते हुए शहादत पाई।
हज़रत जाफ़र इब्न अली अलैहिस्सलाम अमीरुल मोमिनीन इमाम अली इब्न अबी तालिब और सैयदा फ़ातिमा बिन्त हिज़ाम कल्बिय्या, प्रसिद्ध उम्मुल बनीन सलामुल्लाह अलैहा के युवा पुत्र थे। वह इमाम हुसैन के पैतृक भाई और हज़रत अब्बास, अब्दुल्लाह तथा उस्मान इब्न अली के सगे भाई थे। आशूरा के दिन करबला में अहल अल-बैत के साथ शहीद हुए। बाद की पारिवारिक स्मृति कभी उनके नाम को जाफ़र अल-तय्यार रज़ियल्लाहु अन्हु, इमाम अली के भाई और युद्ध-ए मूतह के शहीद, की याद से जोड़ती है। नाम रखने का उद्देश्य प्रारंभिक करबला स्रोतों में सिद्ध नहीं है, इसलिए यह संबंध सम्मानित बाद की स्मृति के रूप में रखा गया है, इमाम अली के नाम चुनने के प्रमाणित कारण के रूप में नहीं। मक़ातिल अल-तालिबिय्यीन उनकी शहादत के समय आयु उन्नीस वर्ष बताता है। यह आयु हर प्रारंभिक विवरण में नहीं दोहराई गई, लेकिन महत्वपूर्ण वंश सूचना है जो उन्हें करबला में उपस्थित उम्मुल बनीन के सबसे युवा वयस्क पुत्रों में रखती है। प्रारंभिक अमान घटना में जाफ़र का नाम स्पष्ट आता है। शिम्र ने अपनी क़बीलाई रिश्तेदार के पुत्रों को पुकारा और हज़रत अब्बास, जाफ़र तथा उस्मान को सुरक्षा दी, लेकिन उन्होंने ऐसी अमान अस्वीकार की जो इमाम हुसैन को असुरक्षित छोड़ती थी। यह युद्ध से पहले जाफ़र के नैतिक निर्णय का सीधा प्रमाण है और बाद की विस्तृत भाषण कथाओं से अलग रखा जाना चाहिए। मक़ातिल अल-तालिबिय्यीन की एक कथा के अनुसार हज़रत अब्बास ने जाफ़र को अपने से पहले मैदान में जाने को कहा, क्योंकि उनकी संतान नहीं थी, और हानी इब्न साबित हज़रमी ने उन्हें मार डाला। यह एक विशेष युद्ध क्रम बताती है, लेकिन एक प्रसारित पुनर्निर्माण है और सभी स्रोतों में समान नहीं। उसी पुस्तक की दूसरी कथा जाफ़र की हत्या ख़ौली इब्न यज़ीद अस्बही से जोड़ती है। हानी और ख़ौली का मतभेद बताता है कि शहादत निश्चित है, लेकिन अंतिम हमलावर की पहचान निश्चित नहीं। इसलिए बाद के रजज़ और व्यक्तिगत युद्ध विवरण सावधानी से उद्धृत होने चाहिए और प्रारंभिक प्रमाण के समान नहीं माने जाने चाहिए। तबऱी, अल-इरशाद और व्यापक शहीद सूचियाँ जाफ़र को इमाम अली के उन पुत्रों में रखती हैं जो इमाम हुसैन के साथ मारे गए। उनकी पहचान, माता-पिता, अमान अस्वीकार करना और आशूरा की शहादत मजबूत रूप से समर्थित हैं, जबकि युद्ध की बारीकियाँ अहल अल-बैत के प्रति उनकी स्पष्ट वफ़ादारी से कम महत्वपूर्ण हैं। यह प्रोफ़ाइल साझा करबला स्थान का उपयोग करती है। जाफ़र इब्न अली की अलग सत्यापित क़ब्र पहचानी नहीं जा सकती, इसलिए उन्हें अहल अल-बैत के शहीदों की सामूहिक दफ़्न और ज़ियारत स्मृति में रखा गया है। उनकी स्मृति युवा वफ़ादारी, पारिवारिक एकता और व्यक्तिगत सुरक्षा के लिए न्यायपूर्ण उद्देश्य न छोड़ने की शिक्षा देती है।
🏛️ ऐतिहासिक महत्व
