🌿 वंश और पारिवारिक पृष्ठभूमि

यमन के हमदान क़बीले की अरहब शाखा से संबद्ध कूफ़ी सहायक। नाम और वंश अब्दुर्रहमान इब्न अब्दुल्लाह, कदन, कुदर, इब्न उबैद और निकट रूपों में मिलता है, जबकि अल-इरशाद में मुस्लिम इब्न अक़ील के मिशन का विवरण अब्दुल्लाह और अब्दुर्रहमान को शद्दाद अल-अरहबी के पुत्र बताता है। यह विरोध पूरी पहचान को अनिश्चित रखता है; माता-पिता, पत्नी और संतानों का विवरण भी निश्चित नहीं है।

⚔️ कर्बला आंदोलन में भूमिका

कर्बला के शहीद, जिन्हें बाद की परंपराएँ कूफ़ा के पत्र पहुँचाने और मुस्लिम इब्न अक़ील रज़ियल्लाहु अन्हु के साथ जाने से जोड़ती हैं; लेकिन इब्न अब्दुल्लाह और शद्दाद के पुत्रों वाले रूपों की समान पहचान निश्चित नहीं है।

Later biographical traditions identify him as Abd al-Rahman ibn Abd Allah and connect him with Kufan letters and Muslim ibn Aqil's mission.
