🌿 वंश और पारिवारिक पृष्ठभूमि

हज़रत अब्दुल्लाह इब्न मुस्लिम इब्न अक़ील अलैहिस्सलाम, मुस्लिम इब्न अक़ील इब्न अबी तालिब अलैहिस्सलाम के पुत्र और बनू हाशिम की अक़ीली शाखा से थे। शहीदों की एक प्रारम्भिक सूची और वंशावली सामग्री उनकी माता को अली इब्न अबी तालिब अलैहिस्सलाम की पुत्री रुक़य्या बताती है, जबकि उनके पारिवारिक जीवन के अन्य विवरण उपलब्ध स्रोतों में समान रूप से सुरक्षित नहीं हैं।

हज़रत अब्दुल्लाह इब्न मुस्लिम इब्न अक़ील अलैहिस्सलाम, मुस्लिम इब्न अक़ील के पुत्र और अक़ील इब्न अबी तालिब के पौत्र थे। इसलिए वे अबू तालिब के घराने की अक़ीली शाखा से थे, जिसने कूफ़ा के अभियान और करबला में इमाम हुसैन अलैहिस्सलाम की अंतिम प्रतिरोध-स्थिति दोनों में भाग लिया। एक प्रारम्भिक शहीद-सूची और वंशावली सामग्री उनकी माता को अली इब्न अबी तालिब की पुत्री रुक़य्या अलैहस्सलाम बताती है। प्रारम्भिक इतिहास उनकी आयु, शिक्षा, विवाह या आरम्भिक जीवन का पूर्ण और एकरूप विवरण नहीं देता, इसलिए परिचय प्रमाणित वंश और घटनाओं तक सीमित रहता है। इमाम हुसैन अलैहिस्सलाम ने मुस्लिम इब्न अक़ील को कूफ़ा के निमंत्रणों की जाँच के लिए भेजा था। मुस्लिम की शहादत के बाद भी बनू अक़ील के सदस्य इमाम के साथ रहे, और अब्दुल्लाह इब्न मुस्लिम आशूरा तक उस वफ़ादार समूह का भाग थे। उपलब्ध कथा उनकी यात्रा के प्रत्येक चरण को अलग से नहीं बताती। अबू मिख़नफ़ के उस प्रारम्भिक विवरण में, जिसे तबरी ने सुरक्षित रखा है, अम्र इब्न सुबैह ने अब्दुल्लाह इब्न मुस्लिम पर तीर चलाया। उन्होंने माथा बचाने के लिए हाथ उठाया तो तीर ने हाथ को माथे से बाँध दिया; फिर अम्र ने दूसरा तीर चलाया जो उनके दिल में लगा। कुछ बाद की कथाएँ इसके स्थान पर किसी दूसरे हमलावर के भाले से शहादत बताती हैं, इसलिए दूसरे तीर वाली रिपोर्ट को अधिक मज़बूत प्रारम्भिक विवरण और भाले वाली कथा को बाद का मत माना गया है। फ़ुज़ैल इब्न ज़ुबैर की सूची भी अम्र इब्न सुबैह का नाम देती है, लेकिन असद इब्न मालिक का वैकल्पिक उल्लेख भी सुरक्षित रखती है। यही सूची अम्र इब्न सुबैह को अब्दुल्लाह इब्न अक़ील की हत्या से भी जोड़ती है, जिससे बाद की कथाओं में दोनों अक़ीली शहीदों के विवरण आपस में मिल गए। उनकी शहादत का मुख्य ऐतिहासिक अर्थ यह है कि कूफ़ा में मुस्लिम इब्न अक़ील की तन्हाई और शहादत के बावजूद परिवार ने इमाम हुसैन का साथ नहीं छोड़ा। करबला में अब्दुल्लाह की उपस्थिति बनू अक़ील की सामूहिक दृढ़ता और भारी पहले के दुख के बाद भी वफ़ादारी का उदाहरण है। ज़ियारत और मनाक़िब की स्मृति उन्हें करबला के शहीदों और अबू तालिब के घराने के रक्षकों में सम्मान से याद करती है। यह परिचय करबला के शहीदों के सामूहिक स्थान से जुड़ा है और अलग क़ब्र, स्वतंत्र मज़ार या अलग नक़्शा-चिह्न का दावा नहीं करता।

The Abu Mikhnaf narrative preserved by al-Tabari describes Amr ibn Subayh pinning Abdullah ibn Muslim's hand to his forehead with one arrow and striking his heart with a second arrow. Some later retellings replace the second arrow with a spear thrust by another assailant, so that version is treated as a later variant. Al-Fudayl ibn al-Zubayr identifies his mother as Ruqayya bint Ali, names Amr ibn Subayh, and preserves Asad ibn Malik as a variant attribution. Because the same roster also associates Amr with Abdullah ibn Aqil, possible overlap between the two profiles is explicitly noted.
