Al-Tabari's Abu Mikhnaf report at vol. 5, p. 434 directly supports Amr's combat, martyrdom, brother Ali's accusation and Imam Husayn's reply. Ibsar al-Ayn, p. 155, supports the full Ansari-Khazraji lineage, the father Qaraza's Companion status and the later messenger tradition. Al-Baladhuri preserves Zubayr as a brother-name variant. The shielding scene and final question belong to later maqtal/devotional transmission and are kept explicitly attributed. Age, killer, spouse, children and wound count remain unverified. The shared-parent location is collective and not proof of a separate grave.
